With the 4th of July behind us, we’re now staring into the long, hot, dog days of summer between now and Labor Day. It seems endless, but when looking back from autumn it’s never long enough.
In the three months of summer, there are only about a dozen weekends — and they quickly get eaten up by weddings, vacations, and chores.
The secret to making the most out of this fleeting season is to embrace the other five days of the week. Summer is mostly made out of weekdays.
Join a softball team, go for a walk, or try dinner in a different neighborhood. Just do anything that gets you out after work. This is not the time to be binging the latest show— they’ll be there when the weather is worse.
